For the record, I haven’t seen the new movie The Night Before, and I certainly don’t intend to give them my money, based on the commercials. I suppose if they want to send me a link to a free copy online, I could watch to see if the commercials are misleading. Also, I’m all for the freedom of speech the allows people to make movies that offend others.
According to the commercials, it looks like a bunch of non-Christians are making a mockery of the Christian religion; and as always they are trying to take the Christianity out of Christmas.
So, why would a studio green-light a movie like this? OK, we all know the answer is that they want to make money. Is that a good reason to make movies like this? Is the freedom of speech a good reason to make movies like this?
So far I haven’t heard any uproar about this travesty. Maybe the Christians are so used to being derided and attacked by their Liberal comrades that they have simply quit fighting and have given up. Can you imagine the uproar if a bunch of non-Liberal people tried to mock something non-Christians consider sacred? The Liberal Media would have them for lunch.
Congratulations to the Liberals for taking over America. And congratulations to the people behind this movie – you got me to provide some of the beloved “free publicity.” And finally, Happy Holidays, as you demand that we wish everyone.
Every year in September, the communists and socialists have their day to celebrate. Labor Day smacks of Marxism and it is un-American. It simply must be changed.
So why do we allow this holiday to continue? Is it because the ruling elite and the successful business people want to appease the lowly worker? Do they want to ‘throw a bone’ to the laborer and prevent a bloody revolt?
We all know that Capitalism made America the greatest nation in the history of the world – hands down. Other than current-day China, communism has failed every time and place people have tried it.
More often than not, people under communist rule yearn for freedom. Tragically, this quest for liberty often ends in brutal death. The communists often enjoy putting on public display of slaying dissidents in order to scare the remaining citizens into submission. Is that the kind of behavior we want to celebrate and glorify in America? The answer is no. I encourage you all to watch “The Killing Fields” to see the effects of communism.
Marxism celebrates Labor as the source of all value. Instead of celebrating Marxism, let’s celebrate Capitalism. Write your representatives, call you Conservative Republican radio hosts and spread the word about the campaign to replace “Labor Day” with something along the lines of “Capital Day” or “Capitalism Day.” Try to think of a better, catchier name if possible and let us know what you come up with.
We all enjoy a holiday now and then – despite the crippling consequences on the productivity of the economy. So we think it’s a fair trade-off to keep a holiday at the “unofficial end of summer,” but we need to celebrate something good, patriotic and American.
Conservatives are an adventurous bunch by nature. There’s a national treasure just waiting for you in America’s National Parks. And let me assure you – it’s the bargain of the century! You can get an annual pass for an entire carload for just $80 – or free for military personnel. You might spend more than that per person for one day at an amusement park.
Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Last year I had the pleasure of visiting Yellowstone. This year I was thrilled to see Zion, Arches, Carlsbad Caverns, and The Grand Canyon. They are all magnificent and a reminder of the incredible beauty of America. They are truly inspiring.
It’s easy to get disillusioned and discouraged when we watch the liberals attack and undermine the American Dream on a daily basis. The liberal media seems intent on trying to make us ashamed of ourselves. Don’t fall into their trap. Don’t let them beat you down and be humbled.
If you need to recharge the ol’ batteries…if you need to reawaken the American spirit that dwells within…if you need to remember America The Great…get yourself out there and visit the American National Parks.
Every day we hear stories about American jobs going overseas to cheaper labor. Many foreign workers will give 110% effort for less than $200 per month. The American worker simply can’t compete due to all the government oversight and regulation, including the minimum wage.
That’s why we must free the American worker to compete on the world stage. We must allow the American worker to negotiate his or her own pay without government interference.
We must eliminate the minimum wage. Only then can employers and job creators afford to give jobs to the best darn workers in the world – American Workers.
